Palin Hatred. Explained.

Monday, June 15th, 2009

The unhinged panic, the barking, anaphylactic rage, that drives seculars in their all-out attack on Sarah Palin is explicable.  A careful dismantling of it, for all to see, would do each of us good, and the Palins a service.  First, a round up.

David Letterman, commenting on Governor Palin’s trip to New York said she, “Bought makeup from Bloomingdale’s to update her ‘slutty flight attendant’ look.”  Imagine him making the same joke of Michelle Obama.

Next, the manac evil of attacking someone’s young daughter probably didn’t occur to Dave. I am guessing a script writer did this one, “One awkward moment for Sarah Palin at the Yankee game, during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez.” Why did Letterman’s writer feel right to assault a Palin girl, and not Malia Obama?  Todd ought to get with the lawyers and work out a motivational knuckle sandwich for Dave.  Challenge him to 12 rounds of boxing for charity, and beat the writer’s name out of him on TV.  (Madison Square Garden, $150 ticket, sold out show) (more…)

We abhor vigilantism

Operation Rescue uses all legal tools to expose abortion’s brutality.

By Troy Newman

The fundamental tenet of the pro-life movement is that human life has intrinsic value and is deserving of protection from the moment the seed and egg unite, until natural death. To take a life without due process devalues all life.

We at Operation Rescue were shocked to hear of the killing of late-term abortionist George Tiller and were among the first groups to denounce the cowardly act that took Tiller’s life. It was not justice, but vigilantism, which must be abhorred by a society that embraces the rule of law over anarchy.

Social justice begins in the womb or it does not exist at all. The spark of life is so precious that….read more at USA Today.com

The Religious Right Didn’t Kill George Tiller

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

The left tries to smear ‘Christianists’ as akin to Islamic extremists.

On Sunday, abortion doctor George Tiller was murdered at his church in Wichita, Kan. He was one of a handful of doctors in the U.S. who performed late-term abortions and for decades had been a target of virulent criticism from antiabortion activists. His clinic had been bombed and vandalized, and in 1993 he was shot in both arms in a failed assassination attempt. Tiller’s alleged killer, Scott Roeder, is a long-time radical antiabortion activist with reported ties to a militant antigovernment organization called the Freemen.

Within hours after the murder, every antiabortion group in the country denounced the attack. Robert P. George, a leading Catholic intellectual opponent of abortion, wrote that “George Tiller’s life was precious” and characterized his murder as….read more at Wall Street Journal

NIH: taking comments on fetal destruction

Saturday, May 2nd, 2009

The NIH is taking comments for their policy of destroying small human beings, so that

their cells can be harvested, and so that the government can spend a lot of money to

incentivize the killing of people the government does not see a use for.  Please take the

time to go there, and leave your comments.

http://nihoerextra.nih.gov/stem_cells/add.htm

I wrote  this:

It is without conscience to allow the destruction of a human embryo for the
capture of embryonic stem cells. First, designating some humans as
beneficially-killable contravenes the first purposes of the Declaration of
Independence. You cannot have equal rights and also designate some people as
beneficial to be innocent-slaughtered. Second, science has demonstrated huge
benefits and gains from ADULT stem cell work, while science has demonstrated
huge incidence of runaway cancers from fetal transplanted stem cells. Third, by
placing the possibility of benefit on the killing of a fetus, the government is
creating a system whereby the murder of future people will financially benefit
adults. This engenders class warfare, pitting the mature against the nascent,
literally incentivizing our own destruction. Both ethically and empirically,
fetal stem cell research is anathema. It should not be done at all.
