The United Way pushes “gun free zones”. There are many United Way member organizations that do this, not just one chapter or type.
Here is an example, where the United Way uses establishing a “gun free zone” as a nice community activism idea.
And today, in New York, a member group of the United Way is, again, sadly, shot-up, just like the many other “gun free zones”.
